There are moments when we arrive at the edge of what we
know.
Behind us is what has been familiar, known, and already lived.
Before us is something we cannot yet name.
The threshold is the space between the two.
It is a moment that asks for a choice. Not because the way
forward is certain, but because remaining where we are is also
a choice.
To stand at the threshold is to recognize that crossing may
change us. What lies beyond may not resemble what we have
known, and there is no promise of what we will find.
Yet every journey reaches a moment when we must decide
whether to remain at the edge or step beyond it.
The threshold does not ask us to know what comes next.
It asks us to choose.
And sometimes, the most important step of the journey is the
one we take before we know where it will lead.
